Rising loonie good news for Canadian NHL clubs

Hey Fans,

How's everyone doing on this lovely late October day? Anyone pumped after the Raptors ripped apart King James and the Cavs at the ACC last night? Bosh for MVP? Maybe a bit premature, haha.
Anyways, we came across this great article in the Toronto Star today about the effect that the strengthening Canadian dollar is having on the NHL teams in Canada. Not only are the economic fortunes of the current Canadian teams in Canada rising but other Canadian cities are becoming more attractive spots for teams to re-locate or new franchises to be created. Have a read if you get a chance it's quite interesting and who knows it might not be long before we see a rise in the number of NHL teams that call the Great White North home!
